Community Listening Party & Open House

We are so excited to share the 1968 Seeberg Select-O-Matic Juke Box that was recently donated to the studio by Mark and Kimberly Winnik. We would love to have you come celebrate it being fully operational with a good old-fashioned listening party and open house here at LullCo Design Studio.

Come spend an evening surrounded by great music, creative people, and great conversation surrounding the music that brings us together as a community. If you have a few 45 RPM records collecting dust, bring them along! We’d love to fill the jukebox with music donated by the people who will enjoy the space! Whether it’s Motown, rock, jazz, soul, punk, disco, or something wonderfully unexpected, we’d love to hear what has been part of your life.

This event is also a chance to see how much LullCo has grown. If you joined us at our first open house a year and a half ago, you’ll find a studio that’s been completely transformed. What started as a vision has become a bustling creative space filled with new opportunities to learn, make, and connect.

Today you’ll find:

• Thousands of yards of upholstery, apparel, quilting, and designer deadstock fabrics.
• A growing mercantile filled with upholstery supplies, tools, foam, batting, sewing notions, and creative materials.
• Expanded upholstery, sewing, quilting, needle felting, and puppet-making classes.
• Long Arm sewing machines, Industrial machines, 100 year old chainstitch embroidery machines and more!
• Community events, retreats, youth programs, and volunteer initiatives.
• A studio built around sharing knowledge, preserving skilled trades, and making creativity accessible to everyone.

Take a walk through the studio, browse what’s new, meet our instructors and fellow makers, ask questions, and see what we’re building together. Whether you’ve been with us since day one or are walking through our doors for the very first time, we’d love to show you around.

There won’t be a formal program or presentation, just good music, good people, and an open invitation to explore.

Bring your friends. Bring your curiosity. Bring a favorite record if you have one.

Most of all, come experience what happens when a community decides to build something together.
