Design Camp for Kids is a hands-on creative experience where kids can explore, invent, build, and bring their ideas to life using real tools, real materials, and their imagination. Instead of following a rigid project plan, campers are encouraged to dream up their own creations while exploring different creative stations and techniques throughout the studio.

Whether they want to build a pillow, design a tiny room, paint furniture, create wearable art, experiment with textiles, or invent something completely unexpected, this camp is all about curiosity, confidence, and creative problem-solving in a supportive environment. Plus they can bring a friend and parent FREE to enjoy the class with!

Kids will have supervised access to a wide variety of studio tools, materials, and activities, including:

• Sewing machines
• Fabric and textile stations
• Hand sewing supplies
• Upholstery tools
• Fabric paint and decorating materials
• Foam and cushion-building materials
• Hot glue and crafting stations
• Button makers and embellishment tools
• Furniture painting and finishing supplies
• Scrap materials for building and prototyping
• Yarn, trims, ribbon, and creative extras
• Drawing, planning, and design stations

Campers are encouraged to experiment, collaborate, and follow their interests while learning hands-on skills in art, design, textiles, and fabrication. Projects can be simple or ambitious depending on age, experience, and attention span, and our team will help guide them through the creative process.

This is not a perfection-focused class. It’s a space for exploration, invention, and making things with your hands in a real working design studio.

Parents are welcome to stay, participate, or create alongside younger children if desired.

Materials:
Basic studio tools and scrap supplies are available for use during camp. Additional  materials, fabrics, and project components are available for purchase in the studio for campers who want to expand their creations.

What to Bring:

• Clothes that can get messy
• Water bottle, lunch and snacks if desired
• Big ideas and imagination

Whether your child already loves crafting or simply enjoys taking things apart and making new things, Design Camp is a welcoming space to explore creativity and build confidence through hands-on making.
